The countdown to a very Cape May Christmas is on! We’ve already celebrated some exciting events. Here’s what’s happened so far:
Cape May’s Holiday Preview Weekend was outstanding. Complete with a wide variety of tours, food and events to celebrate the holiday season, Santa kicked off Christmas in Cape May with an unforgettable tree-lighting ceremony at the Physick Estate. Children enjoyed trolley rides with Santa while adults were entertained by the Ghosts of Christmas Past trolley ride.
Plus, today, the West Cape May Christmas Parade sets the stage for Cape May’s holiday season. In its 53rd year, the parade begins at 5:00pm – with the help of several local volunteers – and marches through town. This year’s theme is “Nutcracker Christmas and the Four Realms”. 60 dancers will preform a mix of ballet, jazz, gymnastics, hip hop, acting, singing, contortion, and adage. Dancers range from four years old to eighteen.
