We love this hotel! Perfect location with the beach across the street and a pool on site. Rooms are great – especially with the kitchenette. Easy walks into town and a nice restaurant and bar as well. Very comfortable. We’ll be back!!!

Four of us went for a Christmas weekend and this place was perfect. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Clean rooms and new bathrooms. Just Perfect. The hotel is close to everything. We can’t wait to go back in the summer.

Friendly staff! Continental breakfast! Great beach views…have nice kitchen it you stay longer then 2 nights! Nice package deals …got to see a play at the cape May Stage… which we would never think of doing! Great time on an Anniversary weekend!

We just spent another terrific stay at The Montreal. It’s almost repetitive but everything was great from checking to checkout. Friendly service at the front desk, spacious and immaculate room. We already have our reservation for next summer and hope to get down for a weekend when they reopen in the spring.

My girlfriend and I like to try and travel and do weekend getaways. Our second anniversary of dating was coming up and we were looking for some place special…Before we even got there, I was delighted that they emailed me and told me that I won a drawing for a $50 gift card for a local brewery!
When we checked in, I had mentioned to the front desk clerk that we were celebrating our anniversary and she offered to send up a bottle of wine. I declined as we are not big drinkers and I was already trying to figure out what to do with the gift card 🙂
We parked around the back and went up to the third floor and entered our room… It was amazing! It looked exactly like the photos online! We had a king-sized bed and a sleeper sofa with two chairs, refrigerator, TV and coffee maker. On the porch we had two chairs and am amazing view of the ocean, and sunrise every morning was beautiful! The bathroom was impeccable and humongous and the bed was so comfortable that we actually looked for the tag so we could buy one for ourselves!
Due to the season, the restaurant on site was closed but there was a really great Continental breakfast downstairs which we happily partook in.
…To make a long story short, we had an amazing time and I popped the question and we are now happily engaged! I had mentioned this to the clerk when I checked in and when I checked out, she asked how it went!
Top notch place and we will definitely add it to our list of places to return to!

We have been staying at the Montreal Inn for over 10 years. Our family has enjoyed many lasting memories and my girls are always wanting to go back. The Hirsch family continues to strive to make each and every guest feel like they are being welcomed into their home versus a resort. When you go there you truly do not want for anything……fabulous place and we just LOVE it!!!!!
