Cape May Summer Events 2020

Finally! You can visit our Cape May seaside resort for some much-deserved summer fun outside of your own backyard! You’ll be happy to know there are some really fun events scheduled in Cape May this summer. Yes, summer happenings are fewer, but there’s plenty to do about town nonetheless. Here’s a list of upcoming Cape May summer events for 2020. Please keep in mind this list is subject to change as events are often canceled without notice due to COVID-19.

 

West Cape May Farm Market | Tuesdays, June 23 through August 25 | 3 PM to 7 PM

The West Cape May Farm Market returns for a ten-week stretch. Rain or shine, vendors offer fresh produce, herbs, antiques, art demonstrations, fresh coffee, barbecue, seafood, and more. Come for the great eats and fresh produce and stay for the wonderful sense of community. Enjoy dinner and relax with the songs of local music talent between 5 PM and 7 PM. West Cape May Municipal Complex at the Backyard Park, 732 Broadway.

 

West Cape May Strawberry Festival | June 27 | 9 AM to 5 PM

Strawberries, strawberries, everywhere! Strawberries, strawberries, just don’t care! Sponsored by the West Cape May Business Association, the Strawberry Festival has become a Cape May staple each summer. Strawberries abound with both edible and non-edible treats, Jersey strawberries, fresh produce, barbecue, and more. Wilbraham Park.

 

Vendors in the Park | July 4 | 9 AM to 5 PM

Vendors in the Park is back thanks to Macedonia Baptist Church. This all-day event features a variety of crafts, antiques, and edible delicacies. Proceeds go to the church building fund. Rain date is July 5th.

 

Craft Beer, Music, and Crab Festival | August 1 through August 2

Come to the beautiful grounds of the Emlen Physick Estate for the 8th annual Craft Beer, Music, and Crab Festival featuring local and regional craft beers, favorite summer foods, live music, and more. Culinary highlights include steamed crabs, pulled pork, crab cakes, shrimp and hot dogs, as well as food from regional vendors. Admission is free. 1048 Washington Street.

 

Harvest Brew Fest | September 12

At Harvest Brew Fest, enjoy craft beers and celebrate Southern New Jersey at this all-day festival that celebrates all things local! Local food vendors, artisans, craft brewers, and musicians gather at this favorite Cape May event. Admission is free. 1048 Washington Street.
