Kick-off the holiday season with the Cape May Holiday Preview Weekend!

At the Montreal Beach Resort, we LOVE the holiday season. We also love Cape May. So, as we approach this annual time of giving thanks, we’d like to count all the ways we’re grateful for Cape May and highlight some of our favorite things to do this time of year.

Dine at exceptional restaurants

If there’s one thing anyone should know about Cape May it’s that we have some excellent restaurants (here are some serving Thanksgiving dinner this year). So many, in fact, it’s hard to keep track. Luckily the city hosts two Cape May Restaurant Weeks each year so visitors can get acquainted with some of the best local establishments.

Take Holiday Trolley Tours

Thanks to Cape May’s Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts and Humanities (MAC), as well as local home and businessowners, visitors can pick from a large selection of holiday tours to celebrate the Christmas season. Each tour is conducted by an enthusiastic Cape May history expert who will guide you through the city’s pastime as you explore new areas.

Enjoy local wineries

Who doesn’t love wine, especially around Christmas time? The area’s growth of regional wineries is something our community is very excited about. Our local wineries offer guests and locals alike a great place to relax and joy the beautiful outdoors – plus some really delicious glasses of wine.

Celebrate the Seasons and Holidays

Every year Cape May celebrates Christmas with six weeks of holiday fun! To kick-off the start of the season, join us for the Cape May Holiday Preview Weekend. It starts tomorrow and we’re running a special package deal to celebrate!

Can’t be here this weekend? Visit us December 1 for the West Cape May Christmas Parade and December 1, 8 and 15 for MAC’s Candlelight House Tour.

West Cape May Christmas Parade

The West Cape May Christmas Parade marks the official beginning of the Cape May Christmas season. Now in its 53rd year, the parade begins at 5:00pm at the WCM Volunteer Firehouse. Then, it marches south on Broadway, winds east on Perry, and turns onto Carpenter Lan. Each year, volunteers come together to put on an unforgettable holiday show.

MAC’s Candlelight House Tour

MAC’s Candlelight House Tour is the high point of the holiday season in Cape May. On this tour, you’ll see beautiful homes, inns, and churches decorated for the holiday season. Enjoy Christmas carols, warm drinks and baked goods on this tour that is sure to get you in the holiday spirit.

Enjoy each and every season with friends and family

So, join us this holiday season in Cape may! At Montreal Beach Resort we take pride in treating all our guests like family, especial during the season.
