Fall Is still A Great Time For The Beach

Who says you can’t enjoy the beach in the fall? Not us! And not Coastal Living! As fall sets in, we tend to think our beach days are over for the year. But enjoying the beach long after the summer heat wave is still a great way to experience the beach. Coastal Living determined nine of the best beaches to visit even after you have packed away your bathing suit. And while we are not surprised, we are delighted to see Cape May on the list.

Aside from all of the great events and festivals hosted here each fall, Cape May can keep visitors busy just about anytime of the year. Walking the beach is a great way to spend a cooler fall morning. Starting your day with the cool ocean breeze on your skin while listening to the waves crashing to shore is perfect anytime of the year.

Hoping on a Cape May Whale Watcher tour (just awarded a Best of South Jersey 2017 by the way) is a great way to enjoy the water late into the year.

You also can’t go wrong at Harry’s Ocean Bar & Grille right on the beach. Harry’s was also awarded a Best of South Jersey 2017 in the “Best Rooftop Vibe” category. And yes, that vibe is still kickin’ after Labor Day. As Cape May’s only rooftop bar, you will not find better ocean views around. With daily live music and carefully selected food and drink items, Harry’s is the perfect way to extend your season of being on the water.

So get out there and keep enjoying the beach. Even if the calendar tells us it’s fall, we don’t have to stop enjoying the wonder that the beach brings us. Let the wonder continue year round. Experiencing Cape May in different seasons will give you a new appreciation of all things beach all year long. A fall getaway should be in store for you.
