2020 was tough for all of us, in many ways. As we close the doors on our 2020 season, we reflect with gratitude on each guest who helped us create a safe and enjoyable experience at the Montreal Beach Resort. Your understanding and support are felt and deeply appreciated.

Cape May Summer Memories 2020
“We jumped in the SUV headed south & were lucky enough to find the Montreal Hotel, on the beach, in Cape May. The outside was so inviting that we had to stop & check it out. The entire staff (front desk, housekeeping & restaurant / bar) were so friendly that we knew that this was the place for us. Our room was perfect, we sat on the deck gazing at the ocean while we made plans for the rest of our stay. Cape May City and the walking mall are within walking distance from our hotel, however, they have everything that you need at the hotel – a great restaurant called “Harry’s“, a cool 2nd floor oceanfront bar & even a package goods store with reasonable prices. Overall, we would definitely stay here again & highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay in Cape May.” – Coastal Traveler, October 2020
“Summer vacation with COVID Our family was reluctant to take a vacation due to Covid. I was so pleased with this resort! They seem to follow strict guidelines due to Covid which made us feel safe. Our room was beautiful, clean and spacious with an incredible view of the Ocean. We stayed on the 3rd floor. The hotel is directly across the street from the beach. Would so recommend this beautiful place. We ate one evening outside at the resort restaurant which was delicious. If we return to Cape May will definitely stay here again.” – P2835YDkimp, August 2020
“My family of 5 (yes, that includes 3 teenagers) found this property very well kept, extremely accommodating, and convenient. Since we used to own a place in cape may this was our first resort experience, and we wouldn’t choose anywhere else. Beach tags, beach service, chairs, & umbrellas were a bonus to not have to pack as they were included. We liked opting out of housekeeping services for a credit to be used at the restaurant. The pool was very warm & the Atmosphere was inviting with live music and the bar! The room was well appointed, clean, fresh, and just spacious enough for us! Also, bike racks made it easy to have and lock up.” – Susan P, August 2020
“MBR and Harry’s are the best and we will never stay anywhere else in Cape May! This was our second time staying in room 221 and already booked for next year. We love the close proximity to the beach, the food & bev is amazing (especially loved the goat cheese bruschetta and lobster avocado toast, and the orange crush!), every single staff member had a mask on at all times and everything was well spaced out and clean. Staff is second to none – special shoutout to bar manager Chris and bartenders Jim and Randy! We also loved that management was working just as hard as staff. GM Marc ran everything from the host stand to phones to cleaning tables, and even the owner, Larry, was cleaning, setting up, and socializing with guests all weekend. We really love room 221 for its corner location and private table at Harry’s. There’s no need to make a dinner reservation and you’re able to hang and listen to live music right from your balcony in your own very socially distanced space, COVID or not!
